Victor Wooten to Appear on Forthcoming Nitro Album
Aside from his tenure with Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten’s desire to experience and play as many different styles as he can – “variety is the spice of my life musically” – has seen him build up an impressive client list, including Mike Stern, The Dave Matthews Band and SMV with Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller. In among all this, Victor has also found time to record on the comeback album from the reformed NITRO, featuring guitar virtuoso Michael Angelo Batio, vocalist Jim Gillette and LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler. “I’m really happy to be a part of this project,” said Victor. “I’ve been a fan of Michael Angelo Batio for decades, and Jim Gillette and Chris Adler are just amazing. Fans will be thrilled to hear what we are coming up with, I’m really excited about it.” The band plans to debut a single from the new record, along with a promotional video, within the next two weeks.
