Trickfish Add to Small Mouth Cabinet Series
Ergonomic, portable bass cabinets seem to be cropping up everywhere these days. California-based Trickfish Amplification has thrown another great example into the mix, but the SM110 ‘Perch’ cab has a few tricks that set it apart from the rest. These 8 Ohm cabinets are constructed from void-free 15mm Baltic Birch and covered in a 22 oz. ‘Sharkskin’ vinyl, but the key feature is a mechanical kickstand that allows the cab to be tilted back at an angle to further project the sound from the speakers, or help you hear a bit more of what you’re doing if you’re standing right next to it. They also feature metal corners, an acoustically transparent cloth grille, a 10-inch Eminence 300W Neodymium speaker and a high-definition 100W silk dome Neodymium tweeter. The SM110 will be available to order direct from the company’s website. For more info visit www.trickfishamps.com
