Remembering Victor Bailey This month we’re remembering Victor Bailey, bassist with Weather Report during their final years from 1982 to 1986, who lost his battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease on 11th November 2016, aged 56. As per Victor’s wishes, his estate is placing several of his basses, effects and other items used in his personal home studio up for auction on May 14th. One of the basses is the 1986 Pensa Sur that was used on the recording of his first solo release ‘Bottom’s Up’.
