Cort Doubles Down on Jazz Pickups With The GB7
Cort’s new GB7 is a fine-looking bass. It has a pair of VTB-ST pickups, which we’re told have been wound using materials that maximise the high and low frequencies. And to make the most of the inherent tonal qualities of the swamp ash body, the onboard electronics combine master volume and pickup blend with a 2-band EQ and active bypass. The GB7 also employs a fully adjustable Omega Bridge, which is made from high-density die-cast Zinc. Both the neck and 21-fret fingerboard are satin maple.
